When is a good time of year to start exterior work?

Answer: Approximately April 15th through October 30th.

Can I get an estimate over the phone or via email?

Answer: We do not give estimates over the phone. Each space is different and therefore there is no accurate way to assess the time & materials that it will take to complete the  job without seeing it in person.

Will your insurance agent provide me with a copy of your Certificate of Insurance?

Answer: Yes

Do I need to be home when you are working?

Answer:  No, you do not need to be home while we are working in your home. We run comprehensive background checks on all of our employees, not only to ensure that we are hiring the best but so that our customerscan feel comfortable & confident and secure in knowing  that we hire only reliable, honest & trustworthy people that you can feel safe entrusting your home to.

How do I get an estimate?
Answer: You can fill out the estimate request form on the website and we will call you to schedule the estimate once we receive your information. You can also call the office to schedule an estimate. Once the estimator has met with you, you will receive your estimate either by mail or via email. Please let the office know your preference when scheduling your estimate.

Do you take credit cards?
Answer: Yes, we accept cash, check, Visa and Master Card as forms of payment.

What do I do with old paints?
Answer: For latex paints, remove lid and fill with kitty litter or Speedy Dry. Once the paint has dried, dispose of in your regular garbage pickup.
For a solvent based paint, bring to your local recycling facility.

What type of paint finish should I use when painting the interior of my home?
Answer:

• High traffic areas & walls: We recommend using a semi-gloss or eggshell finish.
• Low traffic areas & ceilings: We recommend using a flat paint.
• Trim: We recommend using a satin or semi-gloss finish.
• Bathrooms:We recommend using an Eggshell or Premium Matte finish.

How often should I paint the exterior of house?
Answer: Exterior painting: Every 7-9 years
Exterior Stained Siding: Every 3-5 years

How often should I stain my deck?
Answer: Every 1-2 years

Is lead paint really a concern for me and my family?
Answer:YES! If  your home was built before 1978 please let us know . Up until 1978 lead paint was commonly used in paint both on the interiors and exteriors of homes . When the paint begins to deteriorate it can contaminate a household and cause lead poisoning. When working with lead-painted surfaces it is important to contain any debris and clean thoroughly. ALWAYS make remodelers and painters aware if you know your home has lead paint.
